 Julie Accordion is a dynamic and versatile performer whose passion for music began at age 13 when her father gifted her a piano accordion that changed her life. Today, she is recognised as one of Australia’s leading accordionists, captivating audiences with her rich repertoire of Italian, French, German, Russian, Hungarian, Ukrainian, and other European traditions.
Julie’s career highlights include performing alongside international accordion greats at the Cotati Accordion Festival (USA, internationally streamed), Ohio Accordion Festival, and prestigious pre-show entertainment for Cirque du Soleil (Corteo), Victorian Opera (Il Tabarro at Sydney Festival), and NIDA. She has headlined Oktoberfests, multicultural festivals, and major events across Australia.
As a core cast member of the award-winning Viva Italia Show, Julie helped secure the show’s consecutive ACE Awards in 2024 and 2025 for Best Multicultural Act, further cementing her place as a premier multicultural artist. Jim Zappia is multi-talented musician. As an instrumentalist (guitar, flute, drums) and as a singer, he has entertained audiences all around Australia for more than two decades, whether fronting his own band, performing in concerts or in showbands bands.
As a singer, his long and varied career has seen him take part in countless concerts, functions, club events and festivals (including many 3-day Oktoberfests).
With a clear, natural melodic voice, he reveals not only a love of music, but a clear understanding of the multitude of musical styles all the way from Swing and R ‘n’ R through to Contemporary/Pop and Latin. Jim has sung
